Hello Michigan Moose Lodges & Members,
Each year at Founders Day the Michigan Moose Association asks lodges to purchase items for the Michigan House Wishlist. Well this year is going to be a little different. The Michigan House is currently closed due to a shortage of staff. So this year a recommendation was made to do something for ALL the students of Mooseheart. So we are collecting donations to take all of the students on a day out. We are looking to give the campus $5,000 for a day out at the movies. We need to cover the cost of tickets, pop, popcorn, candy, and of course fuel. This will give each home an opportunity for a day out when it works for them.
Donations WILL count towards your annual donations to Moose Charities. We will present the check at Founders Day at the Michigan Home and read off a list of donors or have a board with the donors names.
